Robert Braathe has taught in traditional, online, and hybrid formats.  He developed an online course in Organizational Communications, and also taught Management of Information Technology and Individual Behavior In Organizations online for SUNY Delhi @ SCCC.

In 2009, he developed and had approved through curriculum committee an upper division course in Retailing, and a revision of the course Designing and Managing Organizational Training.

He initiated the first offering of CITA 405, Project Management at SUNY Delhi @ SCCC in the summer of 2008, and taught it in three subsequent semesters.

Other courses that Robert has taught at the Bachelor’s Degree level include

Strategic Management – Hospitality Human Resources II – International Business

For Schenectady County Community College, Robert has taught Business Communications in both classroom and hybrid formats, and Human Resources for the evening program.  In Spring 2011, he will be teaching MKT 223 – Marketing in a hybrid format on Thursdays from 430-545 and BUS 212 Business Communications from 430-545 on Tuesdays in a hybrid format

As well, he will be teaching MB 107 (Business Organization and Management) and MB 350 Entrepreneurship and Small Business at Skidmore College.

An online course in e-Marketing is offered by Robert through SUNY Cobleskill for Spring 2011.

He is currently developing courses for continuing education and professional development in topics including Innovation, Sustainability, and Modern Marketing Practices.

Robert also is a NRAEF ManageFirst Proctor and course facilitator for a number of competency topics including Human Resources and Supervision, Customer Service, and Hospitality and Restaurant Management

The ManageFirst Program, created by the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (NRAEF) and managed nationally by National Restaurant Association Solutions, is a management development program that equips students with the key competencies they need to begin or advance their management careers in our demanding industry.

Prior to his work with SUNY Delhi and Schenectady County Community College, Robert taught as a Visiting Instructor for a semester at SUNY Cobleskill, and as an adjunct summer instructor for Housatonic Community College.
